The Bicycle Museum of America is located in New Bremen, Ohio, and it was founded in 1997. The Schwinn family’s collection constituted most of the founding pieces. Today, the museum has 200 bicycles on display with a collection of over 900, making it one of the largest historic bicycle collections in the world. Famous pieces include an 1887 high wheel bike and a 1953 “Pee Wee Herman” Schwinn DX.
