The Boeing 737 first came off the production line in 1967 and has been a significant seller since then. This plane is Boeing’s smallest and most popular airplane, and they have built/are processing the order of over 8,000 737’s. Many airlines like flying the 737 because it is economical and can operate on grass and gravel runways. The Boeing 737 has a cruising speed of 575 mph and a range of 1,150 miles. Two Pratt and Whitney JT8D-7 engines also power it.
