Boeing began building the first 787-8 Dreamliner in 2003 to improve an efficient, economical, environmentally-friendly, and comfortable airplane. In 2009, they delivered the first Dreamliner. The Dreamliner 8 can carry 210-250 passengers between 7,650 and 8,200 miles at speeds up to 650 mph. The airplane accomplishes this in an incredibly fuel-efficient manner, using 20% less fuel than similar aircraft. Besides increased fuel efficiency, the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner also provides passengers a more enjoyable flight through its cabin design with wider windows, open architecture, and higher humidity.
