Cumbria’s Museum Of Military Life

The Cumbria Museum of Military Life is located in Carlisle, England. This museum was founded in 1932 to teach visitors about the 300-year history of the 34th Regiment of Foot, the 55th Regiment of Foot, the Border Regiment, and the King’s Own Royal Regiment. The museum contains various artifacts, including uniforms, medals, and weapons dating from 1702 until the present day. Other displays include an art exhibition to teach visitors about World War I trench life. Besides displaying history, historians use the Cumbria’s Museum Of Military Life’s archives for research purposes.
