The Grand Rapids Community College campus is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This college offers many different degree pathways like business, computer information systems, and health and exercise services. Under the health and exercise services pathway, students can choose a radiologic technology degree. The equipment in the medical imaging center helps students learn how to take x-rays. Upon graduation, they will obtain certification as a registered radiographer in general radiology, magnetic radiology, or computed radiology. The program also prepares students to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists exam in Michigan to receive their license to practice.
