The Museum of Medicine in Anderlecht, Belgium was formed in 1995 with a purpose to bridge the gap between medicine and art. Throughout the museum, visitors are able to see an array of archaeological objects, works of art, and ancient medical tools and instruments. The exhibits illustrate the long evolution of the art of healing through time and space. The Museum of Medicine consists of 8 exhibition rooms that describes medical practices and presents medical philosophies from numerous eras such as the Greco-Roman and Renaissance.
