Tomb Of Neferbauptah

The Tomb of Neferbauptah is located in the Giza Western Cemetery, the largest of the Old Kingdom cemeteries and contains mortuary chapels for elite class members of the 4th Dynasty of Ancient Egypt. Neferbauptah is the eldest of six sons of Lymery, who was given the title of ‘Steward of the Great Estate’ during the middle to late Dynasty V. The Tomb of Neferbauptah was first discovered in the 1930s. The tomb consists of five chambers with various artifacts and records that help archeologists understand life in Ancient Egypt.
