U.S. Army Airborne And Special Operations Museum: Exhibit

Located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, the U.S Army Airborne and Special Operations Museum is a first class institution that preserves, exhibits, and presents the material culture and heritage of the United States Army Airborne and Special Operations Forces from 1940 and now. The museum was established in August 2000 to celebrate the history and dedication of U.S soldiers from past, present, and future. The main exhibit illustrates the actions of soldiers through time starting with the Parachute Test Platoon in 1940 to the ongoing war on terrorism. While many aspects of warfare have significantly changed, the U.S. The Army Airborne and Special Operations Museum shows how the American soldier bond stays the same throughout generations.
